National Day of Prayer - One Nation Under God

Today is the 61st annual observance of the National Day of Prayer.

From sunrise to sunset across the nation, people will be praying for our nation.
Will you join us?

Our nation was founded with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence. Let's continue that tradition. As it is with most vitally important endeavors, the strengthening of our nation must begin with each of us as individuals. Once we take up the responsibility to pray and rely on God for his guidance and strength for ourselves personally, then and only then will we as Americans be able to truly come together as One Nation Under God.

Please set aside time today to pray and ask God for guidance and protection for our nation.

Please also pray for:
  • our military
  • our government
  • our families
  • the upcoming Presidential and local elections
  • the moral fiber of our nation
  • the leaders in our towns
    • our schools...
    • our churches...
    • our homes
It's obvious our nation is facing incredible challenges. Our own power is insufficient to overcome all that lies before us. We will only find the strength we need as individuals and as a nation as we rely upon the power of Almighty God.

Blessed is the nation whose

God is the Lord.

Psalm 33:12

    1. HI Sandy, thank you for stopping to comment. Are you in the military yourself? My son was in the Marine Corps and got out about a year and a half ago. I do appreciate immensely the sacrifices made by those who serve. Hope you'll come by again!
