I hope you'll join me today in honoring those who have served in our nation's military and given so much protect our freedom.
This poster and all Veterans Day posters from 1978 to present are available for download HERE.
A new generation is rising. What will they learn from you about the sacrifices made on their behalf and the cost of their liberty. Someone is defending our freedom even at this moment. This privilege of this liberty has not come without the blood and sacrifice of brave men and women, many who have given all.
Please keep the important and rich traditions of our nation's history alive and take the time today to thank a veteran and attend a ceremony in their honor. Give your children the gift of reaching out, remembering and celebrating those who have given so much for all of us.
Remembering. Thanks Liz. :)
ReplyDeleteHi Liz,
ReplyDeleteYour words are wise and carry weight. Important weight. Growing up in Canada, we honoured all those brave and generous men and women, who are responsible for our continuing freedom. We will never forget.
Thanks for sharing.

Very important words, Liz.
ReplyDeleteMay we never forget! I lost a brother in Korea (the day before I was born), and my late husband served in Viet Nam, and never got over the horror he saw at such a young age. I appreciate the service of all our veterans. They're the best of the best!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting!
